What we need...
Due to a period of sustained growth, we are looking to recruit a Land Manager to join our Business Development Team.

Reporting to the Senior Land Consultant and working within the Business Development team, the Land Manager will be primarily responsible for assisting the Senior Land Consultant with identifying, assessing, and progressing land acquisition opportunities across the UK.

What you will be doing…

•    Support Senior Land Consultant in identifying, assessing, and progressing land acquisition opportunities across the UK.
•    Liaise with landowners, developers, legal teams, and planning consultants to help move sites through to Heads of Terms.
•    Carry out site research, including identifying potential land opportunities, checking ownership, and reviewing planning history and constraints.
•    Assist with preparing offers, Heads of Terms, and option/promotion agreements under guidance from senior team members.
•    Help coordinate due diligence, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and progressed within required timescales.
•    Build and maintain relationships with landowners, agents, and local stakeholders to support a pipeline of opportunities.
•    Track deal progress and deadlines across multiple sites, flagging issues or delays to the Senior Land Team.
•    Attend site visits, landowner meetings, and planning consultations alongside senior colleagues to build practical land agency experience.
•    Provide regular, structured updates and reporting to the senior Land and leadership team.

 What we are looking for…

Some exposure to land, property, or planning would be desirable, whether through work experience, a placement, or a related degree, though this isn't essential as full training will be provided. What matters most is a genuine interest in land agency, land acquisition, or property development as a career path, along with a proactive, willing-to-learn attitude and strong attention to detail. You'll need strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, good communication skills, and the confidence to liaise with a range of stakeholders. A full UK driving licence is also required, as site visits will be part of the role.
Please apply for more information and please do not be put off if you do not have all of the experience and skills required.  If you have the majority of skills and relevant experience, we would still like to hear from you!
