What we need...

Due to a period of sustained growth, we are looking to recruit a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our Sales & Marketing Team.

The Marketing & Events Coordinator is a creative, organised and thoughtful marketer who helps bring our events to life, from promotion through to on-the-day delivery. Reporting to the Marketing & Events Manager, this role blends campaign support with hands-on event coordination.

This individual will work closely with the Events & Thought leadership Executive and wider marketing team to help deliver a range of events from large scale trade shows to private corporate hospitality.

What you will be doing…

  • End-to-end event management: Assist in the execution of events from start to finish, ensuring every detail reflects the brand's identity and professionalism.
  • Event marketing & promotion: manage pre-event logistics such as invitations, registration, confirmation and reminder emails to maximise attendance and engagement during events. Promote events across email and social channels
  • Sales enablement: Prepare pre, during- and post-event plans and briefing packs for the sales team, and coordinate follow-up activity so leads are captured and actioned. Support the Marketing & Events Manager in tracking lead generation and post-event engagement.
  • Webinar management: Coordinate the set-up and delivery of webinars, ensuring a smooth, professional experience from registration to follow-up.
  • Hands-On Event Execution: Be prepared to roll up your sleeves for tasks like stand setup and breakdown. Act as a brand ambassador by confidently networking at events, engaging with attendees, and stepping in to represent the company on the stand when needed.
  • Partnerships Engagement: Support relationships with partners, including media contacts, membership organisations and professional bodies, acting as day-to-day contact for event promotion and co-marketing activity to reach wider audiences.
  • Thought Leadership Integration: Work with wider team to ensure thought leadership content is integrated into events. Includes briefing the Events & Thought Leadership Executive and Senior Content & Communications Manager on upcoming events and speaker opportunities including panel discussions and workshops.
  • Creative Content Development: Create compelling content for email, social media, and digital platforms to promote events and partner initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Build reports in the CRM (HubSpot) to track event performance, engagement metrics and campaign results, sharing findings with the Marketing & Events Manager to inform future planning.
  • Budget management: Maintain the events budget tracker and ensure supplier and partner invoices are paid on time.

What we are looking for…

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in planning and delivering events, from small workshops through to larger conferences. Strong organisational and project management skills are essential, including the ability to manage several events and deadlines at the same time. A good working knowledge of CRM systems such as HubSpot is desirable, along with experience using event management and webinar platforms. In addition, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident liaising with suppliers, venues and partners. Overall, we are looking for a creative thinker with a passion for delivering unique and engaging marketing events.

Please apply for more information and please do not be put off if you do not have all of the experience and skills required.  If you have the majority of skills and relevant experience, we would still like to hear from you!
