What we need...
Due to a period of sustained growth, we are looking to recruit a Talent, Learning & Development Manager to join our People Team.
Reporting to the Head of HR and working within the broader People Team, the post holder will be primarily responsible for embedding a culture of continuous learning, high performance and career development. The postholder will deliver the Company's Training & Development Strategy through the implementation of effective performance development processes, competency frameworks, skills management, learning programmes and talent initiatives., ensuring learning interventions support succession planning, close capability gaps and enhance employee engagement and retention
What you will be doing…
- Continuously review and improve the Talent, Learning & Development Strategy to align with business objectives and support organisational growth.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, performance, and professional development through performance frameworks, development plans, and regular manager-employee development conversations.
- Develop and maintain structured competency frameworks, skills banks, and career pathways to support workforce planning, internal mobility, and succession.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate diverse learning solutions, including technical, leadership, mentoring, apprenticeships, and compliance training programs.
- Manage relationships with external learning providers, maintain the Learning Management System, and monitor learning effectiveness with data and KPIs to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with HR and stakeholders to anticipate future talent needs, support organisational change, and ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
What we are looking for…
- Extensive experience in Talent, Learning & Development within fast-paced organisational settings, including designing and managing performance frameworks.
- Skilled in developing competency frameworks, skills matrices, and organisational capability models to support workforce development.
- Proficient in designing and delivering blended learning solutions and evaluating their effectiveness through KPIs, feedback, and business outcomes.
- Experienced in managing Learning Management Systems, coaching managers, and facilitating workshops and development programs using adult learning principles.
- Knowledgeable about talent management, career development, succession planning, apprenticeship programmes, and UK employment legislation related to learning and development.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and digital skills, with a passion for continuous learning, adaptability, and maintaining high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
