What we need...
Due to a period of sustained growth, we are looking to recruit an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure Team.
Reporting to Head of Engineering Infrastructure and working within Solutions team, the Azure Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Azure platforms, that host diverse range of products and services.
You’ll work in development scrum team and engage closely with other Infrastructure engineers, Solutions Architects and information security professionals to design and create infrastructure solutions, deploy new features and continuously improve performance, automation, and resilience.
What you will be doing…
- Design, build, and maintain Azure services including App Service, Azure SQL Database, Application Gateway, API Management, Storage Accounts, and Databricks.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and scripting (PowerShell, bash).
- Collaborate with architects and development teams (primarily .NET) to align infrastructure with solution/application architecture.
- Drive adoption of DevOps practices, including automated deployments and environment provisioning.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and configuration issues across environments.
- Create and maintain the documentations for knowledge sharing and training.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and feasibility studies for emerging technologies and guide adoption strategies.
- Stay current with changes in the cloud technology landscape and recommend strategic options, work with Head of Engineering Infrastructure and other stakeholders on adoption plans.

Essential
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure services: App Service, Azure SQL Database, Application Gateway, API Management, Servicebus, Storage Accounts, Databricks
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and scripting knowledge (PowerShell, bash).
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, experience working with build and deployment orchestration tools.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking: VNets, NSGs, firewalls, load balancers, DNS
- Knowledge of security best practices: RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault
- Ability to implement high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
- Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights) and experience with implementing monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.
- Experience in investigating and solving environmental and configuration issues across the stack.
Desirable
- Investigate and debug .NET and react applications for performance and reliability
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of logging and monitoring stacks (ELK, Splunk, Azure Smart Detection)
- Programming experience in C#
- Exposure to cost optimization and cloud governance frameworks
- Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry and Data Fabric
- Knowledge of Blue/Green deployments, deployment slots to reduce downtime
