Due to a period of sustained growth, we are looking to recruit a Senior Land Consultant to join our Sales and Marketing Team.
Reporting To: Head of Land
What you will be doing…
The Senior Land Consultant will be a key player in driving new business growth for TerraQuest's Site Identification Service. This service supports developers and investors in identifying prime land opportunities that align with their objectives. The role requires a strategic and proactive approach to business development, client engagement, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new clients, focusing on developers, investors, and other land stakeholders.
- Develop tailored pitches and proposals to demonstrate the value of TerraQuest’s site identification services.
- Maintain and grow a robust pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
- Provide expert advice on land opportunities and planning considerations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify business opportunities.
- Use GIS tools and other technology to support site identification and analysis.
- Work closely with the Head of Land and the wider TerraQuest team to align business development efforts with organisational goals.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare regular updates on progress, forecasts, and insights to the Head of Land.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, land consultancy, or related roles.
- Deep understanding of the UK land and planning sector.
- Strong network within the development and investor community.
- Proficiency in GIS and other land identification tools is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
