Location: Birmingham office with the option for remote working as appropriate

Salary: £19,500

40 hours including a day at College

What we need.....

The LR Apprentice will be a member of the Delivery team, with responsibility for the execution of project tasks as directed by the Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager. They tasks will be completed to time and quality and in compliance of TerraQuest’s standards and systems.

The position will be as a member of a dedicated team, delivering specialist land and property services and projects in a diverse areas such as research and analysis, evidence gathering, processing and capturing ownership and occupation data, including spatial data using a geographic information system (GIS), and extensive communication and interaction with stakeholders from the public, land professionals and our clients which will involve occasional visits to sites throughout the UK

What you will be doing....

The LR Apprentice will have the opportunity to work on projects across a range of sectors including environmental protection, energy, transport, utilities, housing and regeneration, many of which being large, prestigious infrastructure schemes of national significance.

Other skills responsibilities include.

  • Analysing and verifying information in relation to ownership and occupation of land and property.
  • Capturing graphical and/or textual information to specified quality levels and production rates as required, including land ownership plans and accompanying schedules.
  • Undertaking both office-based research work and site based surveys.
  • Conducting and receiving enquiries from the public and organisations via phone, email and/or in person to confirm land ownership and occupational interests, recording all correspondences accurately, encouraging parties to complete documentation and responding to any concerns they may have.
  • Day to day liaison with team members, clients and interested parties
  • Preparing plans and relevant documentation on request.
  • Being responsible for the quality of deliverables and completeness of updated project documentation and systems.
  • Adhering to all company policy and guidance on compliance, including data security and health & safety, when undertaking all office and site-based activity.
  • Coordinating the storage and flow of all documents in line with standard guidelines, policies and procedures as well as maintaining filed folders to keep projects moving.
  • Providing administrative support as needed

What we are looking for.....

The ideal candidate will have 5 GCSEs including English & Maths and an understanding and interest in Geography. You will have the ability to organise your own workload and be able to work autonomously. The ability to work to deadlines and within a team environment is also essential.

In return you will receive a basic salary of c£19,500 plus a generous benefits package
