What we need.....
The Customer Service Advisor (CSA) is a member of the Finance Transaction Service (FTS) Team. This team is responsible for the receiving, recording, banking, reconciling and variation cases of the FTS service, enabling achievement of the company’s objectives within the business plan.
The CSA has responsibility for ensuring all tasks are completed to time, quality and in-line with revenue and margin targets, and in compliance with TerraQuest’s standards and systems.
What you will be doing....
The CSA will be a dedicated member of the FTS Team, liaising with planning portal service users, payment service providers, banks, and service desk team along with all local authorities that the service transacts with.
Other skills responsibilities include.
  • Handling phone calls from applicants and agents, whether these are queries or for payment of applications.
  • The scanning of all cheques using a purpose-built cheque scanner,
  • Identifying and investigating any invalid cheques e.g., the planning application number is not recorded with the cheque, cheque is not dated/signed etc.
  • Contacting customers to resolve issues.
  • Handling phone calls from applicants and agents, whether these are queries or for payment of applications.
  • Reconciliation of money received to planning applications received
  • Dealing with variations, refunds, and customer financial queries
What we are looking for.....
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a telephony based customer service role, delivering inbound & outbound customer service. You will be able to multi task and prioritise workloads.
In return you will receive a basic salary of c£22,700 plus a generous benefits package
